Finland to send €128m package of defence materiel to Ukraine

Finland will deliver its 33rd materiel assistance package to Ukraine, said the Ministry of Defence in a press release on Friday. The President decided on the matter on Friday on the proposal of the government. The overall value of the capabilities to be delivered to Ukraine now is around EUR 128 million. The total value of the defence materiel Finland has delivered to Ukraine has already reached EUR 3.4 billion. For operational reasons and to ensure that the delivery reaches its destination, more detailed information on the content of the assistance, manner of delivery or schedule will not be provided. Both Ukraines needs and the resources of the Finnish Defence Forces have been taken into account when deciding on the assistance, the press release added.
