Blue-and-Black movement seeks segregation of pupils by background
Finland’s far-right Blue-and-Black movement launched its parliamentary election programme in central Helsinki on Saturday, proposing that pupils with immigrant backgrounds be educated separately from native Finnish pupils. The event drew counter-protesters to Narinkkatori square and led to at least four arrests after disturbances broke out, according to police.
The party, which is seeking seats in Finland’s next parliamentary election, presented its programme at Narinkkatori in the Kamppi district and announced its first 18 election candidates.
