One of the NFL’s most promising young stars delivered a strong message this week to the haters trashing him for daring to associate with and support President Trump.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, President Trump delivered remarks at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, on May 22, and he was welcomed to the stage by 23-year-old New York Giants starting quarterback Jaxson Dart, who came out publicly in support of the President.
“I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump,” Dart said before Trump appeared to the tune of Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA.
Dart, the second-year NFL star and Giants’ starting quarterback, has not been a visible supporter of Trump in the past, but has hinted at his politics.
For having the gall to introduce President Trump at the rally, Dart came under attack from not only the media but also from some of his teammates. No one would have said a word had he decided to introduce Joe Biden or Barack Obama at a rally, however.
But rather than grovel before the woke left and beg for their mercy, Dart calmly explained during a press conference on Friday why he decided to stand with Trump.
Dart astutely noted that being given the chance to introduce the most powerful man in the world is a unique opportunity and a way to show his love for America.
He then revealed his family’s history of public service, including those who served in the military, before making another important point: the president’s position has always been one he has respected, regardless of political affiliation.
In other words, Dart is saying people need to honor the office of the president, regardless of who is residing in the Oval Office. That is certainly something woke athletes can learn from, especially those in the NBA and WNBA.

DART: This was a unique opportunity, you know, being asked and given the opportunity to introduce the President of the United States, my thinking was pretty simple.
The fact is, I’ve always loved this country. I have extended family members who have fought in wars. I have two uncles who have retired from the Air Force Academy and serve themselves.”
And I even have a great-grandfather who served as Secretary of Treasury at some point. So the President’s position has always been a position that I’ve well respected, regardless of political affiliation, regardless of political party, and, you know, my intentions were just that.
I also understand in this world that politics can be a sensitive matter, a sensitive topic. I also understand that I am the quarterback of the New York Giants and that involves a lot of responsibility.
It’s something I embrace, and I love being here.
