Cheshire Disabilities Services urges employers to give people living with disabilities a chance at work
Cheshire Disabilities Services Program Manager Joe Hanuma has called on employers to open more job opportunities for people living with disabilities, saying employment is vital for dignity and inclusion.
Speaking at the NCD Disability Sector Dialogue Forum today in Port Moresby,he reminded stakeholders that Cheshire Disabilities Services, formerly known as Cheshire Homes, has served the community for 60 years and continues to focus on care, education, health and youth empowerment.Hanuma shared success stories of young people who have already found work through Cheshire and called on employers to open their doors to those who are still seeking employment.
