Crime fight gets K11.8 billion boost as government strengthens law and order
The Government has invested an unprecedented K11.8 billion into Papua New Guinea’s law and justice sector since 2019, underscoring its commitment to tackling crime, strengthening policing, and restoring public confidence in state institutions.
According to the Prime Minister’s Seventh Year Parliamentary Report, the sector recorded a 97 percent budget execution rate between 2019 and 2025, making it one of the government’s best-performing areas of expenditure.
