Limerick libraries inviting children to dive into the joy of reading
LIMERICK Libraries are inviting children of all ages to dive into the joy of reading with the Summer Stars reading programme.
This year’s programme was launched in Askeaton Library with a special performance by Knight for Hire attended by the pupils of Scoil Naomh Muire Eas Géitine.
Summer Stars is a free national programme encouraging children to read for fun during the school holidays. Every child can take part and enjoy books, audiobooks, graphic novels, whatever they like to read, at their own pace.
Children can sign up while visiting any one of Limerick’s 16 libraries or the mobile library.
A special collection is also available on BorrowBox, the free library app offering eBooks and audiobooks to all library members.
