Tanzania Needs Export Diversification as Shilling Depreciation Fails to Improve Trade Balance, Central Bank Says
The Central Bank of Tanzania research says depreciation of the Tanzania shilling alone is not enough to improve the country’s trade balance. The central bank says export diversification, manufacturing growth, and infrastructure investment are needed to strengthen the external balance.
