Bulgaria Removes Tsvetelina Borislavova as Iceland’s Honorary Consul After Nearly 20 Years
The Bulgarian government has decided to withdraw its approval for Tsvetelina Borislavova Karagyozova to continue serving as Iceland’s honorary consul in Bulgaria.
The decision was taken at a government meeting following a proposal submitted by Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova-Chamova. The cabinet also revoked its consent for the operation of Iceland’s honorary consulate in Bulgaria, which was based in Sofia and had jurisdiction over the entire country.
